He met Nishiyama at Reins International, Co.Ltd. in 1999 after resigning as a patissier, a job that he had since high school graduation. He was hired as a manager at Gyukaku when the company was not well known and gained experienced in multiple roles including the organization of the franchise headquarters where he defined roles such as functions trainer, product development, procurement and logistics, marketing and human resources. Through his work as the leader of new business development, Doma Doma became a hit and he was appointed a board director in 2002 after only 2 years of being a manager. After that, Doma Doma opened 100 restaurants in 2 years and 4 months. This innovative strategy surprised the Izakaya Industry. After that, he strengthened customer service and product competitiveness by focusing on internal reform that emphasized the customer's point of view and human resource development. He returned to Reins International Co.Ltd. as a senior managing director in 2007 during the MBO, and he grew the Shabu Shabu Onyasuai business to 300 restaurants while in charge of the marketing section, despite a very difficult business environment brought on by BSE (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy) and the collapse of Lehman Brothers. After founder Nishiyama retired, Matsumiya was appointed CEO at Reins international, Co.Ltd in 2012. He increased growth of Rains International, Co.Ltd. after the loss of a charismatic manager by leading the 1200 stores of the organization with the company's management philosophy. He was appointed CEO of Dinning Innovation Ltd. in 2016 with the ambition of making dining out in Japan a richer experience by giving following generations his knowledge and experience obtained through facing numerous challenges. This will lead to the creation of great managers and creating value around eating out together in line with Nishiyama's legacy.

He entered the management planning department of REX Holdings Co. Ltd. in 2006, and engaged in the business as a finance manager of the MBO. After completing the MBO, he engaged in revitalizing the business as CFO, owing a 1,000million JPY MBO loan. He engaged mainly in business planning for the whole group including Management, Achievement, Fund management index design, Operating system construction,Tax consolidation and Financial statement audit. In addition, he was also engaged in M&A activity while improving returns for shareholders and financial institutions. He was involved in the design of tax benefits and maximized the value of closed sales when the group transfered am/pm Japan in 2009 and transfered the stock of Seijyo Sihii Co.Ltd.in 2011. He entered a new stage by joining Dinning Innovation Ltd., after resigning from Reins International Co.Ltd. after it completed the payment of the MBO loan after completing the stock transfer in 2012.

He participated in the start-up of the Group company of Suntory Holdings Limited, Suntory F&B International (HK) Co., Ltd (SFBI) in 2003. He was appointed to General Manager, and engaged in the development of Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong. In 2004, he set up the Singapore corporation, SFBI (Asia-Pacific) Pte Ltd, and became the Managing Director, developing composite restaurants in Singapore and Shanghai. In 2006, He obtained the master franchise rights for "Pepper Lunch" in Asia, and established the Asia FC headquarters and engaged in the FC development and business operations. In 2005, Jin Okabe joined the Human Resources Development Department of Reins International, Co.,Ltd. and created from scratch the FC Manager curriculum and managed the lectures. He also helped building the hiring, formation, labor and staff evaluation systems of the company. In 2013, after his transfer to the Foreign Business Department, he became Director of Tokyo Gyu-Kaku Co.,Ltd. negotiated Taiwan Gyu-Kaku franchises, opened the first On Yasai and Gyu-Kaku Jinan-Bou overseas, and opened more than 39 restaurants in Taiwan in 3 years. In 2017, as General Manager of Asia he worked out a franchise chain of Gyu-Kaku and On Yasai restaurants. He joined Dinning Innovation Ltd. in 2018 and became Managing Director of Taiwan and then of the whole West Asia market restaurants (China/Hong Kong/Taiwan). He’s also Dining Innovation Asia-Pacific COO of East Asia Business.

He was appointed as CEO of Rains International USA and opened the first Gyukaku in Hawaii in 2002. From 2003, he moved to the US and expanded their market. He spread out the mission of Japanese subsidiaries Rains International “creation of excitement” in the US, managed stores that focused on hospitality, and created an organization that has outstanding operations with continuous improvement. He introduced a Japan Gyukaku business model that does not rely on the existed restaurant model or a specific chef and reduced its kitchen size, cooking cost, waste loss(less than 1%), and wage and food expense. In addition, he made restaurants having over 20% EBITDA margin on average. In terms of marketing, Japanese style BBQ became a hit in Hawaii quickly, however in the mainland US, it was quite difficult since there were no habit of having indoor BBQ. Therefore, he changed naming to “Japanese BBQ” and adapted tastes and ways to cut of meat, and added variety of menus to match American's favorite tastes. After with their efforts, now when you ask Americans, “what are representative of Japanese foods?” You will get answers, “Sushi, Tempura, and Gyukaku”. During the impact of the financial crisis in 2008, he changed the main customer target from white collar workers and families to young people or students by dropping average unit price by $10 and launched targeted campaigns such as half off after 9pm. Soon after, Gyukaku became popular among young people and the rapid growth of US Gyukaku began. After that, he was awarded many times, and the store was often covered by Medias as a popular brand. In 2011, he held the first general meeting since we opened the first franchise restaurant with franchisee owners and employees for the purpose of building, sustaining and expanding a qualified franchise network. In this meeting he awarded performance of each store, shared KPIs and performance improvement policy. Also, he promoted US Gyukaku culture, cooperation, and healthy competition between franchisees. He increased the number of franchisees to 22 stores in 2016. (As of October of 2016, 20 directly managed restaurants and 22 and franchised restaurants) As a top management of Rains USA, he showed remarkable skills for 15 years. He successfully operated directly managed and franchise restaurants by strengthened unprecedented customer service standard that no other competitor can offer, lively restaurant atmosphere, foods with combination of healthy ingredients at reasonable price. 10 years after opening the restaurants, its sales of the existed restaurants kept increasing by 7.1% and the number of restaurants kept increasing by 32%. In 2006, all restaurants' total revenue was 10 billion JPY, and BITDA marked 1 billion JPY.

In 2003, Dennis Maneefuangfoo joined REINS International (USA) Co., Ltd. and became manager of Gyu-Kaku Beverly Hills. He created a new restaurant type in the US, the ”Japanese BBQ”, with a restaurant that many Hollywood celebrities as Mariah Carey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Megan Fox or David Beckham like to go to. In 2005, after opening the first Gyu-Kaku of the East Side in NYC, he started to expand the brand and the numbers of restaurants in the area. CEO of Dining Innovation UK Ltd. since January 2018, Dennis Maneefuangfoo is now helping promoting Japanese cuisine culture all over Europe with KINTAN and TSURUTONTAN.

His restaurants won many awards in Hawaii such as the Ilima Awards and the HALE'AINA AWARDS. He created the most famous restaurant chain in Hawaii and, in August 2017, became CEO of DINING INNOVATION HAWAII, INC. Takuma Lathrop is currently expanding the ”TSURUTONTAN” brand in Hawaii and on the West Side.
